Made this little comic after an afternoon shooting the preparation for and operation of a weekly soup kitchen by Second Harvest Japan in Tokyo's Ueno Park. In addition to the efforts of staff members, Second Harvest's work is made possible by hundreds of volunteers every year, some of whom (like Watanabe-san, pictured in this comic) have been contributing their time for years.
